I received a tip Saturday morning that a Cessna plane had crash landed in an old oak tree off of Old Oak Drive. According to the Herald-Tribune article, plane owner Pat Grella was completely unharmed, while pilot Roger Miolet got a scratch on his wrist. After helping the two men get out of the tree, Sarasota Police Department Lt. Steve Breakstone gave them some advice: “Go to church tomorrow.” Here are a few of the shots I snapped:
